Share Your Voice with the Resurrection Choir: All Are Welcome
Music has a special way of offering comfort and peace during difficult times, and our parish’s Resurrection Choir plays a vital role in this ministry of consolation. Made up of volunteers who love to sing, the Resurrection Choir provides music for funeral Masses, offering a gentle presence and familiar hymns to support grieving families.
No Rehearsals, Just Familiar Music
One of the unique aspects of the Resurrection Choir is that there are no rehearsals! We sing well-known songs that most people are already familiar with, so there’s no need to worry about learning complicated new pieces. This makes it a wonderful opportunity for those who enjoy singing but may not have the time for regular choir commitments.
Who Can Join?
The Resurrection Choir is open to everyone. You don’t need to have prior experience singing in a choir or even consider yourself a professional singer. If you enjoy singing and want to contribute your voice to comfort others, we invite you to join us. All you need is a willingness to serve and a heart for supporting those in need during a time of loss.
Why Join?
Being part of the Resurrection Choir is more than just singing—it’s about offering a gift of solace and hope through music. When words fall short, music can provide emotional and spiritual support to families saying goodbye to a loved one. This ministry is a beautiful way to use your voice to help others heal.
Reach out to the Music Director and leave your name and phone number. When a funeral is scheduled, singers will be contacted. Simply show up!
If you’re available and willing to participate in this meaningful service, we would love to have you. Your presence and voice can make a difference in the lives of families during their time of need.
