The OLV School Library Center is an inviting place where students and staff can explore the wonders of reading! We currently have over 8,000 volumes in our collection. The School Library Center is open every day during school hours.

Birthday Club
Celebrate your child's birthday with a gift that all students can enjoy!You are invited to make a cash/check donation towards the purchase of a new book to commemorate your child's birthday. (Summer birthdays will be celebrated either half-year or a date of your choosing). A bookplate with your child's name and birth date will be placed in the front of the book, and they will be recognized during morning announcements and in our weekly newsletter from the office. The week before your child's birthday, they will come to the library and choose from a selection of great books we have pre-purchased. The book will be officially presented on the day they come to the library. After enjoying the book for a two-week period, they will return it to the library for others to checkout. We will also be taking a photograph of the Birthday Club member with their special book. These photos will be displayed outside the library center. -

Book Check-Out Policy
BORROWING POLICY
- Students in kindergarten-grade 2 may borrow one book each week
- Students in grade 3-5 may borrow two books each week
- Students in grade 6-8 may borrow two books for 3 weeks
All materials may be renewed twice. If students need additional material for school projects, special arrangements can be made with the School Librarian.There are NO overdue fines for late items. However, students may not borrow any new library materials until the overdue item is returned.Each student is to take special care of library materials while in their possession. Any items lost or damaged beyond repair will be paid for by the student. Please contact the School Librarian when this happens to find out the replacement fee.All library materials will be returned to the library before the Christmas and Easter holiday break unless arrangements have been made with the School Librarian. -
