How was Hollywood invented?
Our host Thomas Edison will share with us how early film examples thrilled its audiences and started a movie revolution.
May 13, Noon: Lunch at St. Colette. Hope is not lost, but my keys are. Judy Petterle-Saylor will answer our questions and share with us as we wonder, "are we calling on St. Anthony one too many times to find those lost keys?"
Families of Parishes Senior Group Our Families of Parishes here in the Northwestern Wayne part of the Archdiocese being: Our Lady of Victory, St. Colette, St. Edith and St Kenneth are being called to create a “family” and to be family with and for one another. What better way to create family than to begin with the members of our family whose wisdom, love and faith, we depend on, our seniors!
Seasoned Saints know that they have many experiences within them that can be shared in a positive way. Each has their own flavor for life and coming together with others can be a rewarding way to share the gifts they have. Just as different seasonings, enhance and flavor every dish, our seniors do the same thing at the parish. Each one of us identifies our own gifts or talents that can be shared to enhance parish life. So, too do each of us, with our seasoned personalities add the spice to an event, and to the lives of others.
We know that like everyone in a parish community, you our Seniors, find yourselves wanting unique experiences to enhance your life, your Spiritually and your well-being. That could be through a bible study, an outreach project, a social time, a prayerful reflection experience or a simple gathering for friendship and fellowship.
Seasoned Saints Mission Statement
Engage, gather and recognize the talents and gifts of each Seasoned Saint in the parish to enhance parish life and bring others to the Table of Jesus through their sharing of fellowship in faith.
